--Terry Pratchett's character DEATH muses on theatre in his novel, WYRD SISTERS, one of his Discworld satirical fantasies. Several of the discworld novels have been adapted into plays. HOGFATHER & COLOUR OF MAGIC have been made into four-hour television films. In winter 2009, The Royal National Theatre will mount a production of Pratchett's latest novel, NATION (not part of the discworld series), as its family Holiday show. It will be adapted by playwright, Mark Ravenhill.
